Children and adults with mental health issues can access our community-based services. Services include medication training and support, psychosocial rehabilitative services, skills training and development, case management, and crisis intervention.
Services offered Telehealth or Face to Face
In order to identify all of the areas that require attention, we use the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) and the Adult Needs and Strengths (ANSA) assessment tools upon initial intake and every 90 days.
An individual who poses a threat to themselves or to others will be assisted by our crisis intervention team. A crisis can also be an overwhelming event, which can include divorce, violence, the passing of a loved one, or the discovery of a serious illness.
A mental health counselor and a client work together to explore problems and develop the skills and mindset necessary to live an emotionally healthy life, either individually or in a group setting.
The goal of skills training is to address negative behaviors that are symptoms of emotional disturbance. Having these skills allows us to perform better academically, at home, and in the community.
Case workers coordinate services, refer clients to community resources, and advocate on behalf of their clients. A case worker can also assist caregivers by teaching them parenting skills specific to children with emotional disturbances, aggression, or defiance.
If you require guidance or instruction regarding prescription medications, we are able to assist you.
